Nevertheless, a dependable source informed a XANDERTECH journalist that the alleged Boko Haram leader was detained a few days ago in Abeokuta’s Ijaye neighborhood.

The source claimed that the suspect first put up a fight before yielding to the DSS agents’ greater strength.

The insider claims that the operation took place on Saturday night.

The suspected terrorist is said to have traveled from Katsina to Abeokuta and taken a security position at Ijaye while gathering information for terrorist activities, according to the radio report.

“He (the suspect) moved to Abeokuta to establish up a terrorists’ cell for kidnapping and terror acts,” the security source claimed.

“And after gathering intelligence, the armed security personnel assaulted his hiding and captured him.

“The journey was not simple. The agents’ only needs were intelligence and God’s grace.

We are at the top of our game, but there are still a lot of them about.

According to information obtained by XANDERTECH, the suspect is still being held by the DSS.

The DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, was reached, but he didn’t reply to the text sent to his mobile number.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state’s police public relations officer, claimed to be unaware of any arrests.
