Wike tells Rivers voters, “Vote My Candidate, Help Me Survive Politically.””

The people of Rivers State have been urged by Governor Nyesom Wike to vote for his preferred presidential candidate in order to save his political career.

During the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s final campaign rally on Saturday in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Wike made the call and reiterated that he had instructed party leaders in the state to inform the public which presidential candidate to support.

Governor Wike stated that the fight for equity, fairness, and justice will guide the people as to who they will vote for as president, despite the fact that he did not explicitly name his preferred presidential candidate.

“We have given the leaders instructions ward by ward. The leaders in our local government will inform you of our decision. “Follow the way we are going if you want me to survive politically,” he said.

The leader of the Integrity Group praised the All Progressive Congress (APC) governors for transferring power to the South.

“We are going to vote for the unity of Nigeria,” he declared. We will vote for fairness, equity, and justice. Because of this, I salute the APC governors who came out to emphasize that, in order for this nation to move forward as a whole, as one nation, power needs to shift.

They were not avaricious; They are aware that Nigeria is an example of a nation that requires unity. You can acquire power and not have peace if you are power-hungry.
