Following the news that the Argentine would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi has responded to Neymar’s farewell message to him by wishing him well.
An emotional farewell note was penned by Neymar for Lionel Messi, who played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday against Clermont Foot.
The Brazilian international player posted the following message to his Instagram account: “It was a pleasure to share 2 more years with you. I hope that everything goes smoothly for you in this new phase. I love you.”
Messi responded to the piece by writing the following in the comments section:
“You’re welcome, Ney! In addition to all that is still there, we had a lot of fun playing together and sharing the day-to-day activities. I hope everything works out well for you. You are a stunning human being, and in the end, that’s all that matters besides the fact that you’re a crackhead. I love you very much.”
During the course of their careers, Messi and Neymar played together on the field 206 times for Barcelona and PSG, respectively, and scored 67 goals between the two of them.
The majority of it was earned while they were playing for the La Liga champions.
