Asake has come under fire from Blackface for spending $165K to shoot the music video for “Joha” while neglecting the song’s true owner.
He posted the following on Twitter to vent his rage:
You invest $165k in a music video spot for your musician. Before remixing a song, Una should have called the music’s owner for 100 Naira. Una dey form say una clever I believe E better make una do the correct thing since this is not anything I’ll feel bad for una about! I’m coming!
