Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, a rapper and activist from Nigeria, has urged young people to vote in the presidential election on Saturday.
On Sunday, Falz posted a video to his Instagram page in which he urged Nigerians not to use any reason not to vote.
He asserts that the youths must now make decisions regarding their future.
He declared, “Oya election don come oooo this is my PVC; I’m sure you have yours and are prepared to vote.” What’s the point of voting if I don’t want to hear that my vote won’t be counted?
“Oh God, please don’t bother me; In the year 2023, with everything that has transpired, if some individuals continue to say that, I truly have no idea what is wrong with them.
The Labour Party movement has developed into a formidable third force in a short period of time, according to Falz, who urged Nigerians to vote against poor leadership.
He advised, “Forget about all those pessimists, all those cynics that are coming to you, all those irresponsible people that appear to love to suffer and want to keep this status quo, forget about those people and just focus on the goal.” He was referring to the pessimists and the cynics who were coming to him.
He went on to say that the goal is for the people to have decided that they will choose who runs them by 2023.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP), and the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) are the primary candidates in Saturday’s presidential election.
