Older sibling Naija, Season 7, housemate, Hermes Iyele, has revealed that his life changed totally in the wake of being essential for BBNaija show.
In a recent interview, the performer said that he wanted to do things before the show but couldn’t because he didn’t have enough time, but after the show, he has more time but less resources.
He stated, “After BBN, my life changed drastically.” There has been so much change, both good and bad. I wanted to do a lot of things before BBN, but I didn’t have the resources for them. I have many options at this time; but I even lack the time to complete them.”
He went on to say that people’s misconceptions about him have led to numerous criticisms over the years.
“I have faced a lot of condemnation in my life,” he stated. Being from a slum, market women, children, and other individuals who had no idea who I was prior to BBN had numerous opinions regarding who they believed I was. They said that I shouldn’t be wearing so many earrings because I’m a man. I was also judged because I always wore shots; and due to the manner in which I chose to express myself; both in terms of my general way of life and fashion. But I don’t care about opinions that don’t reflect who I am. I am not particularly affected by criticism.
He also talked about how he wants to start a fashion business because dance helped him get a lot of things done.
“I will be launching my clothing line this year,” he stated. I already participate in a lot of dance activities, and I plan to continue doing so into the second half of the year. Sunday Ozegbe and I have been “organizing” our community in Oworonshoki, Lagos, for a long time in order to give back to society. We have fought over awful streets and savagery locally; and dealt with them. In our community as well as other communities that are similar to ours, we have developed a template for celebrating life.
During the show, when he was asked about his relationship with Allysyn, his love interest, he said that they are just friends and don’t have a relationship.
He declared, “We are great.” Both I and she keep an eye on each other. Sincerely, I wish her every success with her brand, which is doing amazingly well. Nonetheless, we are not in a (close connection; Despite this, we are great friends just navigating life. To put it mildly, it has been lovely.
