“I Haven’t Withdrew From Race,” says Alaafin Stool, speaking to Oladigbolu

Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, who is running for the position of Alaafin of Oyo in Oyo State, has disputed rumors that he has dropped out of the race, stating that he will not be deceived into leaving the royal race.

Om’Oba Siyanbola denied in a Thursday statement he provided to LEADERSHIP that he had met with the Kingmakers (Oyomesi) to withdraw from the race, stating that his recent visit to Oyo Town was solely for socializing with the people.

Some massive liars have used my most recent trip to Oyo as a springboard to spread false information, claiming that I sought out the kingmakers in an effort to derail my candidacy for the position of Alaafin of Oyo.

I simply returned home to see my family, like I do frequently; I did not pay a visit to any of the Oyomesi (the Kingmakers), and I want to make that very clear.

I began to receive calls from concerned citizens who wanted to know if the rumors they had heard were accurate the moment I returned to my post.

We should observe jumat service before hitting the road because we might not meet up for jumat while on transit, according to my protocol officer, who is also a Muslim, after viewing the folks I visited.
