NYSC DG is named a National Labor Institute Fellow

Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, the director-general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has been honored as a fellow of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.

Since taking office as the 22nd Chief Executive of NYSC, he has improved employee and corps welfare issues, particularly security-related issues. This led to his award.

The managing director of Gogetters Consulting Ltd, Mr. Olukanmi Ayokanmi, spoke on behalf of the institute during the ceremony held at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja and praised the Director-General for his exceptional work.

General Ahmed was also honored for his efforts to labor-related issues as a cordial Chief Executive, he continued.

Ahmed thanked the Michael Imoudu Institute’s management for recognizing him as deserving of the honor in his response.

He continued by saying that all of the participating labor unions and the NYSC Management get along well.

According to his five-point policy agenda, Ahmed pledged to maintain the security and wellbeing of corps members and staff around the country as his administration’s top priorities.
