Many Nigerians are having trouble getting their hands on the new naira notes. Femi Adebayo Salami, a veteran Nollywood actor, has talked about how hard it was for him to get the new naira bills, which he called “Gold.”
On his Instagram page, the actor complained about how hard it is to buy food at the market because POS agents charge too much and small vendors won’t accept transfers.
He showed off bundles of the new naira notes he was able to get from the bank and said that people should tell him where they live because he is willing to tell him his.
In the words of Femi Adebayo, “Tell me where you are. I know you need it now, and I’m ready to give it to you.
Nigeria’s money is made of Gold. I went through Hell before I saw it. I wanted to buy some small items. I couldn’t plantain, ewedu, pineapple. There’s no POS, and they don’t take transfers.
We’re all for getting rid of cash, but at least make it available. So, I’m willing to share as long as you’re not too far away.
