Gary Neville, a former captain of Manchester United, has urged the Premier League to look into the massive sums of money Saudi Arabia is putting into English football during the transfer window.

Several Chelsea athletes are already scheduled to transfer to the Saudi Pro League.
Neville is certain that a regulator is required to straighten out the “mess” that English football has become, amid concerns over the “fair market” and helping clubs in accordance with Financial Fair Play regulations.

“Any chance the Premier League can look into this Saudi trading like NOW!!!,” he tweeted.
“Asap send in a regulator quick enough to halt these things at the source! It’s probably not right if it doesn’t appear right. Independence is urgently needed. Our game’s governance is a complete disaster.
