Mbappe praised Ronaldo and Messi while downplaying his rivalry with Erling Haaland of Manchester City.
Haaland has been tipped to face Mbappe in a long-term competition posed by two of the game’s greatest players of all time, Messi and Ronaldo.

However, the France captain seeks to disassociate himself from any similarities to Haaland.
“Things should be read differently,” Mbappe said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Having two players like Messi and Ronaldo at such levels for so long probably only occurs once in fifty years or more. I hope the fans made the most of the incredible time we lived in.
Mbappe continued, “I was fortunate enough to play against Cristiano and then against and with Leo: they are absolutely extraordinary.
“I picked up a lot from them, especially over these two seasons with Messi. They are immortal because they created the history of football.
