Terrorists in Zamfara are unopposed and free to scream like wounded lions, according to Mujeed Danbaba

Alhaji Mujeed Danbaba, a former Islamic school teacher in Zamfara State, bemoaned the fact that the rate of ruthless killings, kidnappings, rapes, and other criminal acts has gone out of hand, causing people to be forced to live in constant terror. Danbaba is from Zamfara State.

Danbaba stated that the bandits had continued to carry out terror attacks on communities unchecked despite the coordinated security networks and public outcries.

The Islamic teacher was speaking to the xanderetch in Gusau, the capital of the state, and stated that within the past few days, bandits had assaulted towns in Bakura, Maradun, and Tsafe Local Government Areas of the state, killing and maiming innocent residents. He said this occurred within a few days.

He couldn’t help but wonder where the bandits were getting their weapons and ammo, which were of a higher quality than what the military and other security services had access to.

“Thousands of locals have been killed, many kidnapped, and several abducted victims released after payments of ransom that involved millions of Naira,” he bemoaned, “while many have been displaced, turning uncountable women into widows and thousands of children into orphans.” “Thousands of locals have been killed, many kidnapped, and several abducted victims released after payments of ransom that involved millions of Naira.”

He claims that the bandits have shown to be more effective than the government, and he laments the fact that it is unclear where the bandits get the means to purchase the advanced weapons that they have.

“There is no question that the government is producing enormous quantities of wealth, particularly from crude oil; nevertheless, it is unable to purchase sophisticated weapons in the same way that the robbers can.

“There is no question that the government generates more resources than the bandits, but as a result of a lack of political will, the terrorists are currently having the upper hand.

“It is not clear whether the bandits are operating on their own or whether they are being sponsored by some highly placed Individuals who are seriously benefiting from the inhuman activities; it is left for the security agencies to find out,” he added. “It is not clear whether the bandits are operating on their own or whether they are sponsored by some highly placed Individuals who are seriously benefiting from the inhuman activities.”

Danbaba bemoaned the fact that the situation was getting worse on a daily basis, pointing out that no town, not even the capital of the state, was safe from the ruthless assassinations, the maiming of innocent lives, and the rampant kidnappings that were taking place.
