Posted by A user of Twitter has taken to the microblogging platform to complain that the Nigeria Police Force is demanding N100,000 to investigate the sexual assault and HIV infection of a female friend.
@AS_Ahmadu claimed in a series of tweets that a formal complaint was filed with the police following the incident on Ibadan Street in the state of Kaduna and that they were repeatedly compelled to pay money for the investigation.
The Twitter user revealed that they were even required to pay N5,000 before a letter could be printed and N10,000 before it could be sent for approval.
Additionally, it was alleged that the police demanded N100,000 before beginning an investigation.
