2023 Polls- The APC justifies its three-day fast in Osun

The members of the All Progressives Congress’ Osun State chapter have been instructed to observe a three-day fast and pray in order to pray for God’s blessing on the upcoming general elections.

In a statement obtained in Osogbo on Tuesday, the directive was given by Tajudeen Lawal, the acting state chairman of the party.

Lawal instructed that “the fasting and prayer session should commence on Wednesday through Friday, which is the eve of the conduct of the presidential and National Assembly elections,” stating that the APC was aware of the significance of the fast and prayers.

He stated that “God Almighty should finish His work which He had started on the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all of the party’s candidates for national and state assemblies” should be the APC members’ prayer point.

In addition, he advised APC members to keep their Permanent Voter Cards safe in order to participate in the elections and prayed for peaceful elections and the subsequent victory of all party candidates.
