Messi scores for the sixth game in a row as Inter Miami advances to the League Cup final

Inter Miami defeated Philadelphia Union 4-1 to go to the Leagues Cup final as Lionel Messi scored his sixth goal in nine games for Inter Miami.

At Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, Messi, Josef Martnez, and Jordi Alba all scored in the opening period.

In the final on Saturday, they will now take on Nashville SC.

Nashville won 2-0 against Liga MX team Monterrey in their respective semifinal match.

Since Messi joined the team in July, Inter Miami has won each and every game.

By making it to the final, Miami also secured a spot in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup, a first for the team.
