Okowa, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) vice-presidential candidate, said during a BBC pidgin interview.
Obi acknowledged having experience from serving as a governor, but he said that this experience is not “deep” enough to lead Nigeria.
I didn’t imply that he wouldn’t receive any votes; he will. I’m only suggesting that he isn’t a fresh candidate. He recently left PDP, so it wasn’t long ago. As you are aware, he was a member of APGA before joining PDP. Since he recently left the PDP, he is unable to speak negatively about it because it was his previous organization, he added.
Some of us remain in this place. There are good people and evil individuals at every gathering. But given how volatile Nigeria is now, the proper person is needed. Because they praised Jonathan in 2015 in this way, I’m pleading with our youth to vote wisely and not be misled by the idea of a fake change.
Obi’s prior experience is insufficient for this presidency; it will be challenging. His depth of experience is insufficient. I am aware of how challenging it is to govern during a crisis, even as the present governor. I even want to study under Atiku because he has federal government experience. It’s not a simple task.
It was difficult for them because it was a bigger issue to manage the economy at the time and turn it into something better, providing hope, making jobs, and filtering the society. So, through it, someone is meant to learn. You can tell how little experience Obi has by looking at it.
