Alex Iwobi: I Was Mistreated at Arsenal Football Club

Alex Iwobi, a Super Eagles midfielder, has talked about what he went through at Arsenal before leaving the team.

The Nigerian international claimed that his family played a significant role in assisting him in remaining sane in the face of criticism from Arsenal fans.

Iwobi, a graduate of the Arsenal academy, signed a five-year contract with Everton in the summer of 2019 for £35 million.

When I played for Arsenal, many people were skeptical of my abilities. The criticisms were simply excessive,” the Everton regular midfielder told Premier League Productions.

Iwobi gave special credit to his father for always being there for him and teaching him about the difficulties of playing for a large club like Arsenal.
