The guarantee was given by Lagbaja on Monday while he was visiting Dauda Lawal, the governor of Zamfara State. He stated banditry could no longer be condoned and that enough was enough for the robbers.
Sulaiman Idris, the governor’s spokesperson, said in a news release on Tuesday that the Army Chief and his boss held a private meeting where they discussed crucial security matters.
