Asari Dokubo, a former commander of the Niger Delta insurgency, has said that President Bola Tinubu may fire more prominent Nigerians in charge of government agencies.

Dokubo was responding to the dismissal of Abdulrasheed Bawa as acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, and Godwin Emefiele as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN.
Dokubo asserted that Tinubu would make sure that more people were fired with the dismissal of Bawa and Emefiele.

He revealed this yesterday after meeting Tinubu while speaking to a State House reporter.
Dokubo predicted that “more heads will roll” because Emefiele and Bawa were both killed.
