Atiku wins the voting district

Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for president in 2023, won his polling unit on Saturday.

According to Naijaloaded, the former vice president won his Adamawa State polling unit, PU 012, Ajiya, Gwadabawa ward, Yola North LGA.

Together with his wife, Titi, he had cast his vote in the morning.

The 76-year-old received 282 votes, while his main rivals, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu and the Labour Party candidate Peter Obi, received 57 and 6 votes, respectively.

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), received only one vote in the polling unit.
