Bukayo Saka, an Arsenal player, is about to sign a new deal

Bukayo Saka, an England winger, is close to signing a new contract with Arsenal, the leader in the Premier League.

Even though a new agreement hasn’t been signed yet, there is a sense that they are getting closer.

One of Arsenal’s most important players, 21-year-old Saka has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 23 league games as Arsenal competes for the title.

The contract of the academy graduate was set to expire in 2024.

Saka joined the Hale End academy when he was seven years old, and in November 2018, he made his Arsenal first-team debut.

The new deal, which is said to be worth £10 million per year and will keep him at Arsenal until 2028, will give them another boost as they try to win their first league title in 19 years.

In February, the 21-year-old Brazilian international Gabriel Martinelli also agreed to a new long-term contract.

Leicester is their opponent on Saturday, and Mikel Arteta’s team leads Manchester City by two points.
