The Algarve will play host to the biggest Afrobeats music festival ever from June 28 to June 30 at Praia Da Rocha Beach in Portimo, featuring the best in Afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, amapiano, soca, and other Black-led-musical genres.
Praia Da Rocha, one of the Algarve’s most well-known beaches, is about an hour’s drive from the Faro airport.
With international artists joining the movement, the festival alters the rules once more. The festival has earned a reputation for promoting music from all corners of the African continent while hosting all the top acts and up-and-coming stars.
The celebration of music, dancing, and more bring together cultures from Africa, Europe, the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean in one absolutely unforgettable party.
Nigerian artists including Asake, Fireboy DML, BNXN, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, Victony, Ms Banks, and Nissi are also scheduled to perform at the festival.
There are other performers as well, such as Gabzy, Nelson Freitas, Black Sherif, Gyakie, Camidoh, Tayc, and Vegedream.
