Death of Ondo Chairman Leaves PDP in Tragedy

The shocking news of the unexpected death of Hon. Fatai Adams, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, has shocked and saddened the party.

Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s national publicity secretary, stated, “Indeed, our hearts bleed!” Nigeria has lost a modern political leader who was among the brightest and greatest for our party, the country, and all of humanity.

Our great party, the PDP, owes a great debt of gratitude to Hon. Adams, who was a model of modesty, composure, insight, and sociability as a leader. Adams was also an honest democrat and a magnetic mobilizer who championed truth, justice, equity, and fairness.

A seasoned Party administrator, he used his brains, experience, abilities, enthusiasm, and personal resources to rally and reposition our Party in Ondo State against daunting obstacles. He was a devoted, loyal, and beloved Partyman.

“Hon. Adams demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, including being a dedicated patriot and a leader whose sole concern was the welfare of the people. Throughout his career, he served as a political mobilizer, a lawmaker in the Ondo State House of Assembly, and, most recently, chairman of our party in Ondo State. He consistently exceeded all expectations placed upon him by the Party.”

He went on to say that the passing of Hon. Adam is a devastating loss for the PDP in Ondo State and the country as a whole, not just for his loved ones.
