The newly appointed commissioners have been tasked by Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal with working diligently to advance the state.
He issued a warning that any commissioner deemed to be unworthy will be expelled from his cabinet.
“This administration will not tolerate acts of neglect and is ready to terminate anyone found wanting in the fulfillment of his duties,” he said. “We are on a rescue mission.
As a result, Lawal reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to combating the state’s ongoing banditry.
He said that the current rise in banditry was unacceptable and needed to be addressed seriously.
“All hands must be on deck to address the current state of insecurity, and as a result, we will all contribute in some capacity to the fight against banditry,” he continued.
