Gov. Ortom slams Wike for betraying the G5 governors by meeting with Tinubu

Samuel Ortom, the executive governor of Benue State and ardent supporter of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has disclosed that Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers State, has betrayed the five displeased People’s Democratic Party governors by meeting with the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Keep in mind that prior to the general election, the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, met with the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Samuel, on the other hand, is of the opinion that Wike is deceiving the All Progressive Congress, presidential candidate.

Samuel is furious because Wike’s meeting with Tinubu goes against the agreement of the five People’s Democratic Party governors who had agreed to back Peter Obi in the upcoming general election.

He added,

“Wike is and always will be my friend, but we no longer agree politically. We agreed to back Peter Obi, but he went behind us to meet with Tinubu. Because Rivers State will never allow Peter Obi to vote for Bola Tinubu, he is only deceiving Tinubu.
