According to him, his administration is reviewing the current policy on youth development and will build an implementation strategy that will enable young people to experience the necessary growth and be ready for the future.

In addition to the policy review, Adeleke pointed out that his administration has created a climate agenda, with youth serving as the primary focus of its execution.

The Governor claims that his Climate Advisory Council is creating a state climate policy, and that young people and women will be in charge of implementing it.

In the statement, it was stated, “On this International Youth Day, I salute the enormous potentials of our young people and reiterate my commitment to their development.

“As a government, we have shown an interest in supporting youth, as evidenced by the sheer amount of opportunities we have provided them to serve in various capacities. Beyond this, we are working on a bigger strategy to make sure that young people can contribute to the development of our present and future.

We will soon start putting the various recommendations made by the Youth Advisory Council shortly after the election of last year into practice, and it seems to be a stroke of genius in our effort to advance and transform youth in Osun state.

In order to significantly contribute to the growth and sustainable development of society, he urged young people to embrace their abilities, particularly in inventive thinking. He also urged them to abstain from any criminal activity that might harm those around them.
