xandertech recalls that Man City thrashed Real Madrid at the Etihad in the second leg of their semifinal on May 17.

After the first leg ended 1-1, fans expected a close match in the second leg as well, but that was far from the case.

Man City dominated the match as a brace from Bernardo Silva and a goal each from Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez ensured Pep Guardiola’s side eliminated the 14-time Champions League winners and booked a place in the final where they would face Inter Milan in June.

Speaking after winning the FWA Player of the Year award, Haaland said in an interview with Hayters TV: “The first half, when I saw it again, is one of the few games I have been watching again, and I think it is the best first half I have ever seen, ever in my life of a football team.”
