In Saudi Arabia, Neymar was offered the same contract as Ronaldo

Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, may be on the verge of joining Cristiano Ronaldo in sealing a high-profile transfer to the Saudi Pro League.

Following Lionel Messi out of the Parc des Princes this summer, the Brazilian is expected to leave France.

Ironically, Neymar, who played alongside Messi in Barcelona and Paris, may benefit from Messi’s choice to join Inter Miami.

Al-Hilal had advocated for a Messi transfer, but they could now focus on Neymar.

A delegation from Al-Hilal traveled to Paris, according to CBS Sports, for preliminary negotiations. According to rumors, Neymar would earn pay on par with Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr in January.

A transfer price of about €45 million would be added to the reported pay of €200 million annually. Neymar signed PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for more than £200 million, and he has a deal with the French champions through 2025.
