In the middle of the PDP crisis, Wike warns Atiku and Ayu that those threatening to punish him will lose the election

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has issued a warning to those attempting to harm him as he spars with PDP presidential contender Atiku Abubakar.

Wike threatened to lose the election if those who were planning to punish him for demanding justice and equity within the PDP succeeded.

On Wednesday in Mogho Town, he addressed at a Rivers PDP campaign rally for the Gokana Local Government Area.

The governor referred to the supposed threats against him as absurd.

As said by Wike:

The majority of you have seen the video on YouTube when they claimed to deal with me after winning. You can’t succeed.

“You are threatening to deal with some people, but you have not won. Will God permit you to? They are all making plans and vowing to deal with us despite not yet having been born. I dare them to give it a shot.

Since he was denied the PDP’s presidential nomination in favor of Atiku in 2022, Wike has been upset with the party’s leadership.

Wike and the G-5 group demanded that Iyorchia Ayu be fired as the PDP’s national chairman in the wake of his defeat.

Ayu’s dismissal, according to Wike, will guarantee fairness and equity inside the PDP.
