Lampard to be without 4 key players for Man United clash

Chelsea’s caretaker manager, Frank Lampard, has confirmed that four of his players will not take part in their Premier League clash against Manchester United on Thursday evening.

Lampard spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s away Premier League tie with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

According to the Englishman, the likes of Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount, Reece James, and Benoit Badiashile are all out for the game due to injury and lack of fitness.

“No, we don’t have players returning. Mason [Mount], Reece [James] and Chilly (Ben Chilwell) won’t make the game,” Lampard said.

“Benoit [Badiashile], we know, is out; we are as we were. Joao [Felix] had a small injury at the weekend; he’s back involved.”

The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm.
