Luka Modric, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has referred to Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona as “the best Dutch player.”
Prior to Croatia’s Wednesday night match at the Feyenoord Stadium versus the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League semifinal, Modric addressed the media.
He continues by saying that De Jong is special and that the game begins with him.
According to Modric, Frenkie is unquestionably the best Dutch player, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“He is where the game begins. To play against him is always enjoyable. He’s talented, youthful, and a good kid.
“A top athlete and one of the athletes I enjoy watching. He possesses a unique quality.
