Kingsley Moghalu, a former African Democratic Party (ADC) presidential candidate, has expressed his reaction to the death of Mr. Oyibo Chukwu, a Labour Party senatorial candidate for the Enugu East Senatorial District.

According to XANDERTECH, Chukwu and other party members were reportedly murdered and set ablaze on Wednesday evening at Amaechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area, Enugu State.
They were said to have been approached by unidentified individuals while in a Sienna vehicle.

Moghalu responded by tweeting his sorrow over the incident.
Tragic indeed! I am deeply moved. Oyibo was a classmate of mine at the Law Faculty of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. Is it necessary for politics to be so desperate and violent?
