Posted by Nigerians could not afford to make mistakes in the general elections of 2023, said Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday in Ikeja.
At the Lagos House, Sanwo-Olu made this statement during the First Family of Lagos State’s Eid-ul-Adha celebration in 2022, which was planned by the Lagos State Ministry of Home Affairs.
He asserted that Nigerians must make the right decision in 2023 because it will affect the destiny of their nation, represented by deputy governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
He stated that Nigeria’s future would be strongly influenced by the results of the general elections in 2023, therefore citizens could not afford to choose the wrong leaders in that year’s elections.
He emphasized that Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential nominee, is the best choice for 2023 since he has established ties throughout Nigeria.
He noted that Tinubu had collaborated with individuals from many racial and ethnic groupings throughout the nation and that he sought for high-caliber collaborators.
Sanwo-Olu urged citizens to be patient, obedient, and loyal to the state, saying that these virtues were vital obligations citizens had to the government.
He asserts that parents should raise their children in a godly manner and instill in them the virtues of obedience, loyalty, and patience.
Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the governor’s wife, stated during her speech that the yearly spiritual celebration of Eid-ul-Adha served as an example of the virtues of love, faith, and obedience.
She emphasized the value of peaceful coexistence, emphasizing Lagos State’s rapid growth as a result of peaceful coexistence among many populations there.
She urged people to keep up their prayers for national harmony and to live fearlessly and in brotherly love.
Sanwo-Olu advocated for parents to set a good example for their children by living a life that reflects love in all of their interactions. (NAN)
