The Labour Party candidate for president continued his presidential campaign on Monday in Katsina State and expressed his belief that poor leadership and insecurity had led to tremendous suffering and extreme poverty among Nigerians.

He claims that

“I will create a new Nigeria for everyone and advance Katsina State’s and the country’s socioeconomic operations.”

Peter Obi indicated that he and his running mate, Datti Baba Ahmed, had made the decision to create a new Nigeria where security would be prioritized, guaranteeing that with security, the borders would be opened for greater trade.

He believed that in order to combat poverty, security needed to be restored and borders needed to be opened.

Obi pleaded for Nigerians to cast ballots for the Labour Party in order to guarantee the complete restoration of the nation.
