Police Are Trying To Find The Family Of A Young Girl Who Was Found Wandering In An Enugu Community

The Enugu State Police Command is looking for the family of a young woman who was found wandering in Obe Community in the state’s Nkanu West Local Government Area.

According to a statement made by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, on Tuesday, January 24, a Good Samaritan brought the woman to Ozalla Police Division on January 20.

The PPRO reported that attempts to get the woman to provide pertinent information about her family had been futile since she appeared to be suffering from a “mental condition.”

The young woman, who is about 20 years old, whose picture is attached, was discovered wandering at Obe in Nkanu West LGA and transported to Ozalla Police Division on January 20, 2023, according to a statement from the Enugu State Police Command.

“All attempts to date to gather pertinent information that will aid in her reunion with her parents or other family members have been unsuccessful because she appears to be suffering from a mental disease. As a result, she has gone by the names “Gloria,” “Ada,” and “Mercy” at various points in time.

As a result, anyone who can identify the young woman and aid the command reunite her with her family is asked to contact the Ozalla Police Division at (8053934696) or to report to the division.
