After fourteen years with the Spanish La Liga giants, Benzema made the announcement that he would be leaving Real Madrid this summer as a free agent.

The 2022 Ballon d’Or winner played 648 times for Real Madrid across all competitions, scoring 354 goals and dishing out 165 assists.

At Madrid, the Frenchman also amassed 24 significant prizes, including five UEFA Champions League championships.

The winner of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Ittihad, announced on June 6 that they would be signing Benzema for free.

Morientes, who likes Kane, argues that the England captain can step in for Benzema at Real Madrid.

According to Morientes (via MARCA), “I like Harry Kane, a lot of people are betting on him, and he’d be a good player to take the nine spot [at Real Madrid] for instant performance.”

“The club will consider the financial aspect; I don’t think about it.”

Kane has made a name for himself as one of Europe’s top forwards right now.

During the 2022–23 season, he made 49 appearances for Tottenham and contributed five assists in addition to 32 goals.
