Posted by Seun Kuti, a Nigerian musician and the youngest son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the pioneer of Afrobeat, has claimed that Peter Obi’s family destroyed the economy of Anambra State.
In a video that was posted to his Instagram page, Kuti made the claim.
He claimed that Peter Obi does not pay taxes to the government, which is why Anambra State has poor roads and schools.
“Panama was where Peter Obi put his money. In Anambra State, the Obi family does not pay taxes. Because of this, Anambra State lacks excellent hospitals, schools, and roads.
“People like Obi conceal their wealth in Panama, far from the Nigerian government’s reach. If Obi truly adores Nigeria, then why is he concealing funds from our taxation?
Nigerians cannot benefit from any money in Panama. Obi hides in Panama and makes all of his money in Nigeria. I am entitled to my criticism of Obi.
Accordingly, he warned Peter Obi supporters, “I am not in the game of picking the lesser evil, I don’t pick evil.”
