One Nigeria Group, a civil society organization, has asked the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Yoruba Nation agitators, and other separatist groups to let the general elections in 2023 take place.
Muhammadu Hassan, the group’s coordinator, made this call on Wednesday while addressing journalists in Abuja.
He claims that in order to ensure a peaceful election, all agitations need to end.
In light of ongoing homicide and violence in some of the country’s South East and South West regions, the group spoke.
He stated, “We call on separatist movements and agitators, particularly the Yoruba Nation and IPOB, to sheath their swords and allow peace to reign as we elect our leaders again.” This was in reference to the Yoruba Nation and IPOB.
