Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and his team have been accused by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of buying votes with the new naira notes.

In a statement on Sunday, the national publicity secretary for the PDP, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, blamed Tinubu for the pain that Nigerians are going through because of the currency crisis.

He said that the money problems that most Nigerians are having are sad and worry the PDP.

He said that if the PDP’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar, won the presidential election in February, Nigerians would no longer have to suffer.

“However, our party is saddened that the cash shortage has continued due to the sabotage of corrupt APC leaders, including the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who are said to have planned the intercepting and hoarding of the new notes for their own selfish purposes.”

What he said.
