Two are captured by Osun State Amotekun for theft

Two young males, Ayo Omotosho, 16, and Sarafadeen Ayo, 22, have been detained by Osun Amotekun Corps agents for allegedly terrorizing the citizens of Igbaye town in the state’s Odo-Otin Local Government Area.

The two were also detained in connection with the suspected theft of two automobile batteries from a town resident.

They were detained on Monday following the filing of a complaint, according to information made public by the security agency on Tuesday.

Omotosho and Sarafadeen were detained after collaborating to steal two car batteries in Igbaye town, according to Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi, who confirmed their arrest to the media.

The owner of the stolen batteries filed a report with the Amotekun Odo-Otin Command, which prompted the operatives to move quickly and apprehend the criminals.

“After questioning and inquiry, the criminals admitted to stealing and selling the batteries from the complainant’s car.

The police have taken custody of the offenders for further questioning and possible prosecution.

Finally, Adewinmbi said.
