Video of the time a South African rapper named AKA was killed captured by CCTV

On social media, CCTV footage of the shooting on Friday that resulted in the deaths of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane has gone viral.

Remember that on Friday night, AKA and his close friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were killed outside a restaurant in the coastal city of Durban.

AKA is seen embracing a friend in the video. Before continuing down the street, he gives the friend a handshake and looks over his shoulder.

Before he can get back to his group, a man in a white sweater and hat sprints up to him and fires his gun multiple times.

As everyone else flees, AKA sinks to the ground. The shooter crosses the street and then vanishes.

After the shooting, both AKA and Motsoane were pronounced dead at the scene.

When they were shot, it is thought that the pair was on their way to a nightclub for a performance as part of the rapper’s birthday celebrations.

The murder’s motivation is under investigation.
