Watch as Diogo Costa discusses his move to Manchester United in this video

Diogo Costa, who now plays goalie for Porto and has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, has stated that he wishes to continue his career with the club.

David de Gea, who is currently Manchester United’s first-choice goalkeeper and whose current agreement is set to expire at the end of the month, has decided to extend his contract with the club. Despite this, the Spain international has come under fire for a number of subpar performances this season.

Man United is looking at a number of goalkeepers, and one of them is Costa, who is 23 years old.

After Porto’s victory in the Portuguese Cup on Sunday, Costa was explicitly questioned about a prospective transfer to Manchester United and gave the following response, which was quoted by Metro UK: “That’s the internet.

“To be able to play for my favorite club brings me both joy and honor,” he said.

“What they say is what they say, there is nothing concrete, I have a contract until 2027 and I hope to continue, but let’s see.”
