The wait is over with the confirmation of the draws for the Europa League Round of 16.
In the Europa League Round of 16, Roma will play Real Sociedad, while Juventus will face Vincenzo Grifo’s Freiburg.
The Bianconeri have advanced to the Round of 16 stage by defeating Nantes in the knockout play-off. They will play Freiburg, a Bundesliga team, in the first match on March 9 at home and the second match the following week in Germany.
In the Europa League’s last-16, Arsenal will face Sporting CP. The Gunners avoided the dreaded last-32 play-off rounds, which cost Barcelona a spot in the last-16, by winning their group and making it through the first stage.
After defeating Barcelona in the knockout stage, Manchester United will face another Spanish team.
