We’re not interested in your stadium anymore, and you’re unstable. The Atiku campaign attacks Wike

On Wednesday, the Rivers State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, turned down Nyesom Wike’s permission to hold a presidential campaign rally at the Adokiye Amesiamaka Stadium in Igwurita-Ali, Port Harcourt.

Keep in mind that Wike had denied authorizing the venue before the party’s primary election resulted in a disagreement with Atiku.

However, the governor announced the facility’s reapproval on Tuesday when he spoke at the PDP governorship campaign rally in Ogu, which is located in the Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of the state.

Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa, the spokesperson for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, stated that the Atiku campaign no longer had an interest in the facility in response to the most recent approval.

On Tuesday, during a radio program in Port Harcourt, the spokesperson stated that the Council could not rely on Governor Wike’s statements.

He says, “We learned yesterday that he (Wike) announced that the stadium has been restored and that he has rescinded his decision.”

“However, let me state this very clearly: Governor Wike’s Greek gift is no longer of interest to the Presidential Campaign Council of Atiku.

“He revoked the aforementioned stadium for intelligence-based reasons. May I inquire whether he has changed those intelligence reports?
