Posted by In light of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that his country welcomes the fresh defensive assistance it received from US President Joe Biden.
According to Zelensky, Biden’s updated defense assistance is helping Ukraine defeat Russia.
On Monday night, he revealed this in a post sent from his Twitter account.
Thank you, @POTUS, for being a strong leader, standing up for Ukraine, and realizing that Russia poses a threat to all of civilized society, Zelensky wrote in a tweet.
“Together, the US and Ukraine are protecting freedom-related ideals. We are getting closer to victory thanks to the new defense assistance program.
Russia and Ukraine have been at war for more than five months.
As of right now, the war has already claimed several lives.
