Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter Milan is planning a meeting with Chelsea to discuss Lukaku’s future and hope to keep him at the club.

The giants of Serie A still want Lukaku to stay with them for next season.

Last summer, Lukaku signed a loan agreement with Inter for €8 million, which included €3 million in add-ons.

The Belgium international has had a difficult season in Italy, making just 11 appearances and scoring just two goals. He has struggled with injury and form this season.

In a deal that was then a club record, Chelsea signed the 29-year-old for £97 million and is unlikely to recoup even close to that amount for the former Manchester United star.
