Al-Nassr, who recently sacked their manager Rudi Garcia, were held to a frustrating 0-0 stalemate by Al-Fayha in their last league game.

That particular result put them three points behind Al-Ittihad in the title race and Ronaldo and his teammates running out of time to leapfrog Al-Ittihad with just seven games to go.

They will now be hoping to return to winning ways when they face bitter rivals Al-Hilal at the King Fahd International Stadium.

“Cristiano Ronaldo will be today’s racehorse, with his expertise and high technical capabilities,” Al-Sahlawi was quoted as saying by the Saudi daily Al Eqtisadiah.
