As suspected herdsmen attack a community in the Plateau State, 7 deaths have been confirmed

In Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, gunmen who are thought to be herdsmen have once more murdered no less than seven people.

According to XANDERTECH, the murder occurred less than 24 hours after 18 other people died in a shootout between bandits and vigilantes in the Wase Council Area of the State.

The Berom Youth Moulders Association’s National Publicity Secretary, Rwang Tengwong, acknowledged to newsmen on Monday in Jos the latest deaths in the Jos South LGA.

Tengwong claims that seven persons have been identified as having died at the Danda Chugwi community as a result of an attack by alleged Fulani militias.

He said that the attack took place on July 31, 2022, about 9:00 p.m.

he Added,

Others who suffered critical gunshot wounds were transferred to Vom Christian hospital for prompt medical care.

Security organizations in the State have not made any statements regarding the most recent killings.
