As the new NSCDC FCT Commandant, Odumosu was deployed

The FCT Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has appointed Commandant Olusola Odumosu as Commandant FCT.

Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, Commandant General of the Corps, stated that the deployment was made to ensure effective service delivery. He also noted that Commandant Odumosu would succeed Commandant Peter Maigari, who would be pursuing a strategic course at the National Security Institute for the upcoming 12 months.

Dr. Audi praised Odumosu for his dedication and professionalism in the performance of his duties and praised the qualities of grit, persistence, loyalty, and dedication that he demonstrated while working at the National headquarters.

He said that during Odumosu’s time as the Corps’ Director of Public Relations, numerous improvements were made that improved the Corps’ reputation and raised the degree of societal acceptance across the country.

He gave the order that the transition between the outgoing and incoming Commandants be completed no later than Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

The new FCT Commandant responded by thanking the CG for considering him deserving of serving as the FCT Command’s leader at this time and promising to stay consistent, diligent, resolute, and committed to the Corps’ goals and mission.

CSC Babawale Zaid Afolabi has been chosen by the CG as the new director of public relations at the

National Office of the NSCDC is in Abuja.
