Even though his latest album and his global hit “Last Last” got a lot of praise from critics, Burna Boy didn’t win the awards for “Best Global Music Album” and “Best Global Song Performance.”
At the awards show on February 5, 2023, many talented artists won Grammys, including Tems, a Nigerian singer-songwriter who won her first Grammy. Burna Boy, however, did not win.
The “Best Global Song Performance” award goes to “Bayethe” by Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikod, instead of “Last Last” by Burna Boy.
Even though Burna Boy didn’t win a Grammy this year, his music still moves and inspires people all over the world. With his unique mix of afro-fusion sounds and catchy lyrics, he is still one of the most exciting and innovative musicians working today.
